Cooler Weather / Illness
The cooler weather is definitely here. Please be sure to keep you child at home if they are not feeling well. This helps prevent the spreading of germs from student to student. Teachers are constantly cleaning classrooms to prevent illness; however, grams are easily spread through students having a cough or a sore throat. Also, please be sure your child comes to school properly dressed for the weather.
Honor Roll
Congratulations to the A & B Honor Roll students! Report cards for the first quarter were sent home with the students on Wednesday. Signed report card envelopes are due back to the school office by Wednesday, October 28th. Be sure to look for your A & B Honor Roll students in the Daily Telegram. Honor Roll grades were faxed to the Daily Telegram office on Wednesday.
Thank you Elementary Art Classes
The following thank you note was addressed to the Berean Baptist Academy Art Classes:
Dear Art Class Students,
I would like to thank you, on behalf of the library staff and the community for you generosity and ingeniousness. We all enjoyed the "Scooter Girl" very much and we appreciate your kindnes in lending her to the library for "Appleumpkin!" I don't know if we will have a recycled scarecrow-contest next year, but now that we know there is an interest, in may be possible.
Thank you,
Supervisor of Circulation Services
