Sing Unto The Lord With Thanksgiving...

Psalm 147:7

Tomorrow will be a 1/2 day of school.  Classes will resume on Monday, November 30th.  Someone once said, "It would be nice if we could forget our troubles as easily as we forget our blessings."  Don't forget to count your blessings.  In fact, name them one, by one!

Berean Sports

Tuesday, December 1st, the volleyball team and the junior varsity basketball team will be competing in an away game against Antioch Baptist.  The volleyball game starts at 4:30 p.m. and the basketball game starts at 5:30 p.m.  The bus will be leaving at 2:30 p.m. and returning at approximately 9:30 p.m.  Students will need to bring money for supper after the games.
Friday, December 4th, the junior high and varsity basketball teams will be competing against Bird Lake at Drager Middle School.  The junior high team will play at 6:30 p.m. and the varsity team will play at 7:45 p.m.
Also, the 1st – 3rd graders will be playing during halftime of the varsity game.

Christmas Program

The school Christmas program is just around the corner!  The program will begin at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th.  This is a time change from the original school calendar.  We hope this change is a benefit for everyone involved.
Also, just a reminder Friday, December 18th is the last day of classes before Christmas break.  Classes will resume Monday, January 4th.

Ladies & Teen Girls Conference

School will be dismissed at noon on December 4th due to the number of staff ladies and students attending the Winder Wonderland Conference.  All 7th – 12th grade girls are invited to the upcoming conference scheduled for Friday & Saturday (December 4th & 5th).  Any students needing to register may pick up a registration form in the school office.  There will be no organized cheerleading for the basketball game December 4th.  Miss Brown is attending the conference and has encouraged the cheerleaders to attend as well.  Several church members, including faculty & staff, will be riding to the conference together in the church van.  Your young lady is also welcome to ride in the church van.  For those planning to ride in the church van on Friday, please be in the church parking lot at 2:00 p.m.

Orchestra / Band

Orchestra / Band rehearsal went very well after church last Sunday.  Please continue to attend practice each Sunday evening until Christmas.  We are practicing for a special on December 13th in the evening service.  Please have your student bring his or her instrument and music to the piano side of the church right after the service ends.  If you have any questions, please call 263-6513.  Thank you.  Mrs. Nixon
