Tonight at Springbrook, the Jr. High team will compete against Antioch Baptist (JV) at 5:30 p.m. and the Varsity will compete against the Tri-County Patriots at 7:00 p.m.  The 1st – 3rd grad boys will play during halftime of the Varsity game.  The Jr. High team needs to be @ Springbrook by 5:00 p.m. and the Varsity should arrive no later than 6:15 p.m.

Casual Denim with the appropriate top and tennis shoes for home games will be permitted for the remainder of the 2010 basketball season.  Pastor is also allowing students to wear their BBA Hoodie or Fleece. (If T-shirts are giong to be worn they must remain under the appropriate top.)  Pastor has allowed this dress code change; however, if students do not cooperate with the rules they will receive demerits the following school day.  This dress code applies to all 1st – 12th grade BBA students, including the junior high basketball team after they have competed.

Monday, January 25th, the 9th and 10th grade basketball players will be competing in the Stateline JV Tournament at 12:30 p.m.  The players will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m.  They plan to eat at Golden Corral after the first game.  The Cheerleaders will leave at 3:30 p.m. in time to cheer for the 2nd game of the tournament.  The basketball players and the cheerleaders will need money for supper after the game.

Tuesday, January 26th, both basketball teams have an away game against Harvest Temple.  The junior high game starts at 4:30 p.m. and the varsity game starts at 5:30 p.m.  The bus will leave at 2:15 p.m. and should return by 9:45 p.m.  Students will need money for supper after the game.

**Roanoke Varsity Tournament coming soon.  Mark your calendars (February 12th and 13th), and plan for $35 per person.  This tournament includes the varsity basketball team and the cheerleaders.  Details will be announced.**


Homecoming Deadline

All Homecoming questionnaires need to be filled out and returned to the school office no later than Monday, February 1st.  Also, the deadline for girls dress check is this Monday (Jan. 25th).  The homecoming ceremony will take place at Springbrook on Friday, February 5th.  The ceremony will begin at 5:15 p.m., followed by the junior high game at 6:00 p.m. and the varsity game at 7:15 p.m.  Everyone participating in the homecoming ceremony needs to arrive at 5:00 p.m.


Toledo Mud Hens Field Trip

Wednesday, May 19th, all 1st – 6th grade students will enjoy a day at the ballpark with the "World Famous Toledo Mud Hens!"  Cost for each student attending is $6.00.  Parents and family members are welcomed to attend for the same price!  A meal ticket is available for $4.00 more.  Outside food is not allowed.  Tickets for parents and family members must be paid for by Friday, February 26th.
