Berean Sports

Tonight, the junior high and varsity teams have a home game at Springbrook against Stateline.  The junior high game starts at 6:00 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 7:15 p.m.  The 1st – 3rd grade boys play during halftime of the varsity game.

Tuesday, Febrary 9th, both basketball teams have an away game against Apostolic Christian.  The Jr. high game starts at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity game starts at 6:45 p.m.  The bus will leave at 3:15 p.m. and stop at Wendy's in Adrian for an early supper before the game.  The bus should return by 9:00 p.m. (Students will need to bring money for Wendy's.)

Friday & Saturday, February 12th - 13th, the varsity basketball team will be playing in the Roanoke Baptist Varsity Tournament.  The team and the cheerleaders will be leaving on Friday at 10:00 a.m.  Their first game starts at 1:00 p.m.  Upon winning their first game, the Bobcats will play their second game at 7:00 p.m.  Students will need money for five meals total.  Also concessions are available throughout each day.
This tournament will cost each player and each cheerleader $35.  The following list is for BBA fans planning to attend the tournament:
One-Day Pass:   Adult - $5   Student - $3   Family - $12
Single Game Pass:   Adult - $2   Student - $1   Family - $5


Homecoming

Tonight, February 5th, we will have out annual Homecoming ceremony.  The ceremony will begin at 5:15 p.m.  Everyone participating in the homecoming ceremony will need to arrive at 5:00 p.m.  Congratulations to the 2010 Homecoming Court!

**Girls on the Homecoming Court will have a final dress check at 5:00 p.m.  Please be sure to see Miss Brown for this.


Baked-Goods Auction

February 19th, the Senior Class will be selling a variety of homemade desserts.  Come out and support the seniors, and don't forget to bring extra $$$ (checks welcome)!


Presidents' Day

There will be no classes on Monday, February 15th, to honor Presidents' Day.


Senior Recognition

February 19th, the Seniors of Berean Baptist Academy will be honored during our annual Senior Recognition Night.  The ceremony begins at 5:15 p.m. in the Springbrook Middle School gymnasium.  Those participating in the ceremony will need to be in the gym by 5:00 p.m.  Also, just a reminder, anyone involved in the ceremony Sunday style dress is expected.  Please be sure to follow the Handbook guidelines.


Valentines Parties

All K - 6th grade students will have their Valentine's parties on Friday, February 12th.  Don't forget your Valentines!
